Allison Steiner, LCSW, MPH is the Clinical Director at Paramount Wellness Retreat. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Public Health and over a decade of experience in the treatment of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Allison began her career in 2014 working with brain imaging and neuromodulation techniques, an experience that continues to inform her clinical lens today. This foundation has shaped her understanding of addiction and mental health as conditions rooted in neurobiological change, profoundly influenced by trauma, environment, and relational experiences. Her work reflects a thoughtful integration of science, compassion, and individualized care.
She is deeply committed to reducing stigma and providing effective, respectful treatment for individuals struggling with substance use disorders, complex post-traumatic stress, and personality disorders. Allison’s clinical approach emphasizes “bottom-up” interventions and trauma-informed modalities, including polyvagal theory and Internal Family Systems, supporting clients in reconnecting with their internal resources and discovering sustainable paths toward recovery.
As Clinical Director, Allison is passionate about cultivating a treatment environment that is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. She believes that healing occurs most effectively when individuals feel understood, respected, and empowered within their care. Allison is thrilled to join Paramount Wellness Retreat, where the organization’s dedication to empathetic, individualized, and holistic care is deeply woven into every aspect of the treatment experience.
Outside of her professional work, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, dog, and cat. She is also an artist and finds creativity through painting and drawing on the weekends.
